Michigan Herp Atlas
HRM administers the Michigan Herpetological Atlas, a Michigan Department of Natural Resources project to increase the state’s knowledge of reptile and amphibian distribution and population health. The Atlas data will enhance herpetological conservation and management by creating a comprehensive and publicly accessible database of reptile and amphibian observation records. Anyone is welcome to submit their observations to the Atlas, and HRM and our employees regularly contribute.
